Pat Cummins dented RCB’s sensational 288-run chase despite a valiant 83 from Dinesh Karthik as SRH registered a 25-run win in a record-smashing match in Bengaluru. The match witnessed the highest aggregate in a T20 with 549 runs across two innings and the joint-highest haul of sixes in a  T20 (38).

Powered by a Travis Head century and a quickfire 67 from Heinrich Klaasen, SRH broke their own record for the highest-ever IPL total as they posted 287/3 against RCB. Faf du Plessis had won the toss against the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Royal Challengers Bengaluru had opted to field first at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Monday.
