Feyenoord vs. PEC Zwolle

Feyenoord play host to PEC Zwolle on Sunday evening knowing that they are realistically already guaranteed to finish in second place in the Eredivisie standings.

Meanwhile, having already ensured that they will not be relegated this season, PEC Zwolle travel to De Kuip able to play without any pressure.

Although Feyenoord still has a mathematical chance of winning the Eredivisie title, the club and its supporters have already accepted that PSV Eindhoven will be crowned champions. This is because PSV have lost only nine points throughout the season and would need to lose all of their remaining games, while Feyenoord would need to win theirs and achieve a 23-goal difference.

Feyenoord has already secured the second position, won the KNVB-Beker, and is now focused on maintaining their winning streak at their home ground, De Kuip, by winning their remaining two fixtures against Zwolle and Excelsior. Additionally, their head coach, Arne Slot, is rumored to be on the verge of being confirmed as Liverpool's new manager.

On the other hand, Zwolle has secured their top-flight status for another year, and they can now enjoy the final three games of the season. Despite losing two points over an eight-game period, Zwolle has secured seven points from their last three games, including two home victories over Excelsior and Heracles, moving them up to the 11th position.

Although Zwolle has a decent away record, they have been unable to win their last five away fixtures, with their last away victory coming on February 11. For Feyenoord, maintaining their unbeaten record, except for a penalty shootout, is important, as they have not suffered a defeat in 23 games, which will give their head coach, Arne Slot, something to be proud of before he moves to Anfield.
