Supercomputer's favourites face hosts in heavyweight quarter-final

"Spain has become the supercomputer's favorite to win Euro 2024, but they face their biggest test so far on Friday as they take on hosts Germany in a mouth-watering quarter-final.

There is no doubt that Spain has been the most convincing team at the tournament. Luis de la Fuente's side has a 100 percent record, with Robin Le Normand's own goal in the 4-1 last-16 win over Georgia being the only goal they have conceded so far."

In Stuttgart, the two top-scoring teams of Euro 2024, Germany with 10 goals and Spain with eight, will face each other. Also, France, who hasn't scored from open play yet, will play against Portugal. Cristiano Ronaldo has made 20 goal attempts, more than any other player in the tournament, but he hasn't scored yet.

Spain will play against Germany on Friday at 5 pm. Spain has been performing exceptionally well in Euro 2024 and is considered the favorite to win. However, they will face a tough challenge as they take on hosts Germany in a quarter-final match.

Spain has a perfect record in the tournament so far, with their only conceded goal being an own goal by Robin Le Normand in the 4-1 last-16 win over Georgia. They have shown impressive attacking prowess, with 35 shots in a single match against Georgia, the most in a match in either the World Cup or Euros history.

Despite Spain's strong performance, Germany possesses the talent and midfield capability to pose a real threat to them.
